Child Care
We have 160 Orphans in our care and we work continously in the upliftment of children in rural areas through education and feeding projects. They didn't choose to be where they are and deserve to be loved and taken care of.

Currently, Hands on Africa serves the people in rural areas in Kenya, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and South Africa. However with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and support of the community of faith, we desire to reach the "unreached" in other areas.
There are more than 1 000 000 pastors in Africa with the passion to preach the Gospel, but have no training because it is either not available in their areas or it is simply unaffordable. We have distance learning centers where we teach an Associates and Bachelor degree in Theology. We have over 1500 students currently enrolled in the programme and more than 1000 graduates.
We have partnered with Life Abundantly that works to uplift rural communities by transforming current conditions to Eradicate malnutrition, provide safe clean water, equip families to become self sufficient through better farming and providing hygienic ablution facilities that don't re-contaminate water sources.
Training the heart, instructing the mind, empowering the hand.
In partnership with Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary we have established A Theological seminary and learning centre in Swaziland where we are currently training 16 students in a Bachelors degree in Theology.
In total we have over 1500 enrolled students in campuses in Kenya, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Zwaziland, Burundi and South Africa with a waiting list of over 600 applicants.

Alongside the initiative of Bill Passaglia from Chicago, USA we were able to be a part of a new Farm development project in Zambia. The purpose of the 250 hectare farm is to create jobs, generate revenue and develop skill sfor the surrounding villagers by involving them in the planting of crops and farming of bees, chickens and goats.
We have already constructed 700 bee hives for our Orphan Gold Honey project from which the proceeds will go to further the development of the project in Zambia.
We have bought 350 goats and are producing 300 chickens every 6 weeks.
We are in the process of planting Moringa trees that we already have a buyer for.
This is an ongoing project and any help is much needed. If you would like to become involved in this project email.natasha@handsonafrica.com
Giving a home to a child
There are more than one million orphans in Zambia, giving it the highest per capita orphan rate in the world. Through the generosity of people around the world we were able to build an orphanage to house 48 orphaned children according to the new regulations in Zambia for orphanages.
We were required to build 2 separate housing units for boys and girls including living areas for the children where they can learn and play.
The project was a total of $50 000 and was completed in June 2018 and is already providing a home for 46 orphaned children
“We received a miracle, it was a well!”
The people of Sierra Leone are suffering from a lack of access to clean and safe water.
Together with our partners, we were able to put in a water well and pump by our orphanage in Pendembu Njeigbla in Sierra Leone providing a complete water and sanitation solution. It makes an incredible impact.
The total project was a cost of $8000. Our children no longer have to walk miles to the closest river for bathing and washing.
To date we have constructed 17 water wells, an underground storage tank and 12 water tanks with gutters. We have also implemented running water at our orphanage in Zambia.
In order to fulfil our vision, we need to live Christ to those in need by providing in their basic needs such as taking care of orphans and widows, offer water supply, education and health care.
Through our many projects we strive to for the betterment of the people of Africa.
Education in Africa is a major priority for us. With our many theological seminaries as well as schooling projects we aim to empower the African people by giving them a high grade education.
