Hands on Africa has opportunities to minister in the prison in Migori, Kenya, both to the men and women sections, and had the privilege to pray with many of the inmates to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. The chaplains take responsibility to disciple all those who made a confession of their faith in Christ Jesus. Some of these inmates who came to know Christ through this ministry are now students at our Seminaries. We have also had opportunities to minister in prisons in Malawi.

We're taking the message of hope directly to the heart of communities through vibrant open-air rallies. Transforming a simple truck into a mobile stage, we bring the Gospel to life with powerful preaching and uplifting worship. Our worship dance team leads everyone in heartfelt praise, creating an atmosphere of joy and connection. As the Word is proclaimed, we witness lives touched and hearts opened, inviting all to experience the life-changing love of Jesus.

In rural regions where spiritual communities were once absent, we've witnessed the planting of over 1,400 churches, bringing hope and fellowship to countless lives. Our Seminary plays a crucial role in this growth, not only through classroom instruction in Church Planting, but also through practical application. Each student is empowered and equipped to establish a church within their own village, sharing the Gospel and building a foundation of faith through personal evangelism. This hands-on approach ensures that the seeds of spiritual renewal take root and flourish in the very communities our students call home.

Discipleship is an important factor in our ministry, providing essential spiritual guidance and growth. Within our "Life Abundantly" project, we emphasize the transformative power of ongoing learning and fellowship. To ensure that families fully benefit from this approach, participation in weekly discipleship meetings is a core component. These gatherings offer a space for shared learning, encouragement, and the deepening of faith, fostering a strong foundation for lasting positive change within the community.

Schools are a vital part of our outreach. We use interactive methods to share the Gospel with children, creating opportunities for them to encounter Jesus. By partnering with Project Patricia, we provide reusable sanitary pads, which creates natural openings for us to teach Godly sex education. We have also distributed over 3500 Bibles to children, giving them the tools they need to grow in their faith.

Since 2023, we've had the joy of hosting a Vacation Bible School for children in Burundi. Each year, over 1,000 eager young hearts gather to participate in a week filled with fun and learning about Jesus. This special program provides a unique opportunity to share the love of Jesus through engaging lessons, lively worship, and interactive activities. Beyond spiritual nourishment, we also ensure the children receive a nutritious meal each day, for many of them it will be the only meal they receive that day, meeting a vital physical need while planting seeds of eternal hope.
