Enrichment of African Women

Through special programs we help to restore the dignity and self image of vulnerable women in Africa and other parts of the world. We provide housing and skills training to these women in rural areas in South Africa and Kenya.

We present Women Enrichment Conferences in Africa and North America. If the women of Africa learn to love Christ, they can impact the lives of their children and change a nation. The vision of Hands on Africa is to teach the women of Africa that they are of value, not only to Christ but also to their families and communities.

Widow Center Kenya

Poor widows are often evicted by landhungry relatives, who use culture to justify their actions, which leaves widows without any means to provide in their basic needs.

Our Widow Care Center in Kenya provides a home to abandoned widows where they are helped to restore their dignity and self-worth through special programs and daily Bible studies. Many of these women testify how they were sitting in their huts, alone and desolate, some without food for days and with no hope of having a meal within the next few days. Now they have a safe place to stay, they have enough food every day and also medical care.

City of Refuge Center

City of Refuge in Middelburg, Eastern Cape, South Africa opened in October 2016. The center is a place of love, hope, security, and an environment for healing from past wounds, the ability to live day by day, facing issues head on. Our desire is to provide a sanctuary of unyielding, unconditional love.

Kenya

Fadhilla Dada Project

Crossroads Fellowship Kisumu Church opened up a rescue center for these children and their mothers who happens to be mostly teenage girls.

Our goal is to save children going through abuse and neglect and preventing teenage mothers from spiraling into prostitution. To give them food and shelter and education for the children, with a hope to give them a safe haven where they will feel loved, taken care of and showing them the love of Christ.

Mothers participate in weekly daycare volunteering, devotions, recovery, and parenting classes, with on-site counselor support.

Reusable Sanitary Pads

Project Patricia

Project Patricia provides cloth, reusable sanitary pad kits, distributed by missionaries to women and girls across Africa. To date, over 10,000 kits have been delivered. This initiative not only addresses a critical need but also opens doors for Gospel sharing in non-Christian schools, where we gain access that would otherwise be restricted.
