The Challenge
Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world. 30,000 people die every year in Malawi from dirty water alone.
Rural people have to walk more than 1km to access clean and safe water. Instead they resort to drawing water fro sources containing waterborne diseases causing high fatalities.
Un-hygienic ablution practices infect the water sources, compounding the causes and occurrence of these diseases.
Bad farming practices and lack of resources leave many destitute with no hope of improvement.
Many women suffer from nutrition disorders leading to maternal deaths leaving orphans. Around 45% of deaths in children under 5 are linked to malnutirtion. 50% eat only 1 meal per day.
Transforming Current Conditions, using Sustainable Tools to Give LIFE, HOPE and a FUTURE.
Eradicating Malnurition
Bad farming practices & lack of resources leave many destitute with no hope of improvement.
Sustainable Tools
Develop practical tested repeatable processes through training and mentorship.
Give Life
Families are mentored and enabled to “fish” for themselves, cultivating ownership, empowerment & knowledge so that they can share with their community.
Silent Emergency
Rural people have to walk more than 1km to access clean and safe water. In Sub-Saharan Africa, 43 per cent of children drink unsafe water and one in five die before their fifth birthday.
Sustainable Tools
Easy to use water filter systems that removes 99.9% of bacteria.
Clean Water
Clean water improves and saves lives. Something we take for granted can make a big difference in the lives of those in rural areas.
Unhygienic ablutions
892 million people worldwide practice open defecation, meaning they go outside – on the side of the road, in bushes or rubbish heaps.Globally, 1 in 3 schools do not have adequate toilets, and 23% of schools have no toilets at all.
Sustainable Tools
Provide proper and hygienic ablution facilities that best suit their environment.
Safe facilities
Toilets save lives! Without toilets, deadly diseases spread rapidly. Our goal is to provide safe and hygienic facilities to rural communities.
Reaching A Broken World
Life Abundantly International is driven by a single goal; coming alongside the helpless and hopeless to replace death and despair with Life and Hope.
Spreading the Gospel
Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty." This is why an essential part of our ministry is to spread the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Discipleship
Provide local support in the form of mentor-ship and Christian counselling for new Christians so they may grow in their faith and continue in their journey of becoming fishers of men.
OUR VISION
The Gospel of the Kingdom of God demands a radical transformation of living conditions in that beautiful nation, one village at a time; not by providing endless handouts, but by promoting self capability through mentor-ship, enablement and participation.
I have come that they might have Life,
and that they might have it more Abundantly
- Jesus

Our Strategy
1. “Complete holistic solutions”, resolving "root causes" not merely “symptoms”.
• Providing a "complete solution" to a selected group of families at a time, based on severity of need, as agreed with the village elders.
• The solution will address five key needs:
o Food to the malnourished, clean water, improved crops, Hygienic ablutions.
o Mentoring, counseling and training sessions will be provided to provide physical and spiritual guidance to teach on crop improvement, health and values.
• Once the solution has been fully implemented and the selected group empowered to succeed the next priority group will be selected, based on need.
• The process will be repeated until the complete village has been transformed.
2. Team work:
• Weekly joint management meetings to monitor strategy, budgets and spending.
• An implementation management team in Malawi overseeing various teams to practically implement the vision "on the ground".
3. Mentor-ship mindset not a “handout” mentality
• Families are mentored and enabled to “fish” for themselves, cultivating ownership, empowerment & know-how bringing continuous positive transformation to their lives.
4. Create a culture of "sowing back" a portion of their gains into the community.
5. Develop a practical tested repeatable process.
6. Propagate the strategy to other needy families in the village and ultimately in other villages in ever expanding “circles”.
